About The Position

IBC Bank is seeking a Management Services Developer I to join their team. This full-time, in-office position within the Management Services department focuses on using T-SQL (SQL Server) to develop and maintain reports and packages across the enterprise using SSRS and SSIS tools. The role involves creating new reports and modifying existing ones based on business needs, ensuring effective delivery of change initiatives through coordinated change management plans, and maintaining code quality and system reliability.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of SQL queries, SSIS and SSRS
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing reusable libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and judgement abilities
  • Working knowledge of T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HR and/or Financials is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop new SSRS reports and/or modify existing reports based on business needs
  • Develop new SSIS packages or modify existing packages as business requirements change
  • Plan, provision, and execute updates and upgrades to the SQL environments in coordination with other groups as necessary
  • Design, develop, test, and implement programs and scripts to satisfy validated customer requests and/or improve system reliability and/or efficiency
  • Respond to field/department notifications of errors in a time sensitive manner
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automated processes
