About The Position

The Department of Management maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary teaching positions in Poulsbo, WA. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer sessions, applications are accepted continuously for temporary part-time non-tenure track teaching positions with occasional opportunities for temporary, full-time appointments. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

• MBA, JD or Master's Degree in a business-related field
• Evidence of successful experience in teaching
• Academically or professionally qualified in accordance with college and AACSB standards. Consistent with AACSB (2013) standard 15, qualified faculty status is based on academic preparation, professional experience, and ongoing engagement with academic and professional activities
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff, including a commitment to cultivating learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds

Nice To Haves

• PhD in Business or related field
• Experience teaching undergraduate students

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate course concepts face-to-face or using ITV
• Assess student learning using College of Business and Economics guidelines and provide constructive feedback to students
• Work with on-site tenured faculty to ensure theoretical links between course topics and smooth transitions between courses
