About The Position

The Adult and Higher Education graduate program , Department of Health & Community Studies in Woodring College of Education is currently seeking exceptionally qualified persons interested in temporary, non-tenure track teaching positions. The positions are usually part-time - one course per year. Positions may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly course-by-course basis.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in adult and continuing education or relevant academic area
  • Successful teaching experience in adult and continuing education in a higher education setting
  • Recent record of research and publications in the field of adult and continuing education.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to cultivating learning environments that are equitable and inclusive of students with diverse social identities and backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate and graduate course background in education or relevant area
  • Evidence of successful administrative leadership
