About The Position

Management Mama Margie’s Management Team must be passionate about serving great tasting fresh food, insisting on continued sales growth resulting from great food and service! You must have the desire and ability to make a difference in our operations by continually working towards improving food quality, increasing sales, improving customer service, and controlling food cost. You must be able to inspire all employees on your shift to perform at a higher level through training, strategy, and motivation. Mama Margie managers manage or assist with the management of the daily operations of a particular shift, ensuring that employee staffing is sufficient and employees are properly trained so that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer. Restaurant managers must be able to hold employees and subordinate managers accountable but they must make sure employees are properly trained and also appreciated so that employees feel like they are part of a great team. Mama Margie’s is a fast-paced environment and all positions require attendance on the weekends and holidays (including Christmas or Christmas Eve). Managers must be dependable and able to work as a team to accomplish the goals of serving great tasting food in a clean and friendly atmosphere.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays (Christmas or Christmas Eve).
Must be available for 45-48 hours per week.
Experience in the Restaurant Industry is required.
Knowledge/experience using email and Microsoft Excel and Word.
Solid communication skills.
Solid math skills.
Great team building skills.

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with company standards with food quality preparation, customer relations, employee and customer safety, scheduling, training, cash handling, food and labor cost control, daily paperwork, and other duties as required or assigned.
Manage or assist with the management of the daily operations of a particular shift.
Ensure that employee staffing is sufficient and employees are properly trained so that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer.
Hold employees and subordinate managers accountable.
Make sure employees are properly trained and also appreciated so that employees feel like they are part of a great team.
