About The Position

PCI Professional Services is seeking a highly motivated Management Consultant - Data Analytics to support a federal health client in delivering data-driven insights, executive reporting, dashboard development, and strategic decision support. This role will serve as a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and analytics products that support leadership visibility into organizational performance, workforce metrics, acquisition activities, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience working with complex datasets, and the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders. This individual will work closely with program managers, communications specialists, and client leadership to develop reporting solutions that improve transparency, facilitate decision-making, and drive operational improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or related consulting support.
Demonstrated experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
Experience analyzing and interpreting data to support organizational decision-making.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and data visualization best practices.
Experience creating executive-level reports, briefings, and presentations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, performance indicators, risks, and opportunities.
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, metrics, and executive reporting products.
Perform data validation, data quality reviews, and data cleansing activities.
Create recurring and ad hoc reports to support leadership decision-making.
Develop data models, visualizations, and analytical products that effectively communicate business insights.
Document data sources, business rules, calculations, and reporting methodologies.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
Support data integration, automation, and reporting improvement initiatives.
Leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps, to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency.
Recommend enhancements to existing dashboards and reporting processes.
Maintain dashboard functionality and support ongoing updates and data refresh activities.
Develop executive briefings, presentations, visual products, and analytical summaries.
Support program performance management activities through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Prepare leadership-ready communications that clearly convey analytical findings and recommendations.
Assist with strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational performance initiatives.
Support stakeholder meetings by preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, and follow-up action items.
Collaborate with client leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify business needs and reporting priorities.
Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide user support and training related to dashboard usage and reporting tools.
Develop user guides, quick-reference materials, and supporting documentation.
