About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Management Analyst Specialist to support our Fort Belvoir, VA location. PeopleTec, Inc. is seeking a Management Analyst Specialist to support our Fort Belvoir, VA operations of the newly formed Capability Program Executive (CPE) Organization. In this role as a specialist, provide direct support to the Deputy Director at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience providing administrative and clerical support to corporate or government.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment ad operate both independently or in a team.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience supporting diverse team including senior leadership, such as flag officers, SES government civilians, or senior executives.
  • Extensive experience with MS Office to coordinate calendars, write communications, develop documentation, and develop filing system.
  • Experience with government Automated Time and Attendance and Production System
  • Experience using Defense Travel System.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.
  • Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • 10 years’ experience providing administrative and clerical support to senior leadership, such as flag officers, SES government civilians, or senior executives.
  • Previous experience with Army programs, administrative processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of DoD security regulations and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism while interacting with a diverse group.
  • Self-directed and able to perform assignments independently, and, at times, with management staff under time constraints and stringent deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage a monthly calendar of events for senior staff, including all important conferences, meetings, and visitors.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products to develop numerous PowerPoint briefings, Excel spreadsheets, and documentation using Word and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Review incoming/outgoing documentation/briefings for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation and format and track documents through the staffing process both internally and with higher headquarters.
  • Compose nontechnical correspondence to higher echelons, affiliated and nonaffiliated agencies, and business associates.
  • Serve as an advisor to staff members in the practical translation and implementation of administrative policies and objectives as outlined by supervisor and higher authority.
  • Establishes methods and procedures for controlling reports, records, and correspondence originating in and maintained within the office.
  • Establish permanent and temporary files of important classified and unclassified projects and correspondence including official and unofficial correspondence.
  • Arrange travel using the DoD Defense Travel System (DTS) to include travel itineraries, hotel, transportation, TDY agendas, and briefing packets and ensure that vouchers are submitted in a timely fashion for settlement of the traveler's government travel card.
  • Administration of the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS).
  • Support personnel in multiple offices that are geographically separated.
  • Safeguard classified material, transmission, documentation, and destruction of classified material.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
