The Management Analyst IV for Special Projects turns complex business needs into practical, efficient solutions by automating workflows, improving processes, and helping teams successfully implement new systems. The position performs advanced management analysis and project management work for agency special projects. Work includes planning and coordinating new systems and processes; evaluating operational efficiency; documenting business requirements and workflows; analyzing data; developing and executing user acceptance testing; and supporting implementation, training, and continuous improvement. During the Texas legislative session, the position works extensively with agency finance and budget staff to coordinate fiscal note tracking, schedules, deadlines, system support, and stakeholder communication. The position collaborates with information technology staff, vendors, contractors, internal agency programs, and Government and Stakeholder Relations. Work is performed under limited supervision with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
