This role provides analysis of institutional activities and recommends alternatives designed to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness. The Management Analyst II will perform qualitative analysis of departmental functions and procedures for small projects and provide analysis support for larger, more complex projects. This position will also prepare project work plans and schedules, examine departmental operations such as work flow, manual and automated systems, organizational structure and staffing, and current policies and procedures. Recommendations will be prepared for the implementation of new methods or systems that improve the operational effectiveness of the work area. The role also involves coordinating user requirements for automated systems, preparing functional specifications, acting as a liaison with data processing personnel, and conducting post-installation evaluations. Adherence to internal controls established for the department is also required.
