About The Position

This position will be responsible for managing, coordinating and supervising the training and support for both agents and MDFIW personnel for the department’s Maine Online Sportsman’s Electronic System (MOSES). The MOSES System handles all the department’s licenses, permits and registrations. Work is performed under limited supervision. Organizing, managing, and executing training sessions for both new and current MOSES Agents, conducted either in person or through virtual platforms. Providing training for new and existing department personnel requiring access to MOSES. Providing oral and written information explaining various licensing and registration requirements in accordance with office standards. Providing phone and technical support to the Department’s licensing and registration agents. Work closely with MDIFW and MaineIT MOSES Support personnel to clearly specify changes needed in the MOSES system. Test all MOSES updates prior to implementation. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in the use of computers and various computer applications.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of education, training, and/or experience analyzing, evaluating, and/or developing improvements to organizational and/or managerial systems, programs, and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in public speaking, teaching, and training.
  • Exceptional skills in both oral and written communication.
  • Extensive experience in the use of computers and various computer applications.

  • Experience in the use of MOSES.
