About The Position

This Management Accountant opportunity with Dawsongroup Vans places you at the heart of business performance, helping leaders make informed decisions through meaningful financial insight and analysis. Prepare and present monthly management accounts, identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and reduce month end timelines. Produce key weekly and monthly operational reports that support performance monitoring across the business. Partner with the Head of Finance, leadership team and department heads to improve reporting, analysis and decision making. Develop dashboards and real time reporting using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Analyse variances against budgets, highlighting opportunities, risks and areas requiring action.

Requirements

  • Experience preparing management accounts, financial reports or business performance analysis
  • Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Experience using Excel and reporting tools to interpret and communicate data
  • An encouraging leadership style with the ability to support and develop team performance
