About The Position

Seeking Independent Contractors for MPD Operations! Are you an experienced professional in Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations? We are seeking talented individuals to work as independent contractors on various US land and Gulf of Mexico based projects. You will work on rig sites installing MPD equipment, monitoring operations, troubleshooting issues, preparing reports and documentation and utilizing hydraulics modeling software.

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in oil and gas drilling or well service experience
• Either 2 years' experience as an oilfield supervisor OR must hold a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make quick decisions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Aptitude for troubleshooting problems using logic and critical thinking
• Basic understanding of pneumatic and/or electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Pass a drug test
• Clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Level 3 and 4 Well Control
• Experience with hydraulics modeling software/calculations
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in MPD operations
• Strong understanding of MPD techniques and equipment
