This position operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring 3 days per week in the Philadelphia, PA office. The primary function of the Managed Account Trader is the trading and administration of SMA and UMA relationships at GIM. Additionally, this person will back up Institutional Desk traders as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4+ years trading and administration experience on Tegra/Fiserv APL.
  • 2+ years back office experience related to SMA/UMA relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and direct trade rotation pursuant to GIM’s trade rotation policy.
  • Assist Sales team in responding to account inquiries as needed.
  • Perform tax harvesting in accounts when requested.
  • Assist in Proxy administration.
  • Monitor SMA/UMA relationships.
  • Execute trades for SMA accounts on APL Report trades to the UMA-Overlay relationships.
  • Monitor trade/account reconciliation reports for GIM and sponsor relationships on a regular basis.
  • Execute trades for new or terminating accounts and any cash flows using approved models.
  • Update monthly AUM report.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of UMA-Overlay models.
  • Active engagement in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives to expand capabilities, create solutions to unmet business needs, improve user experience, or develop more efficient processes.
  • Ability and willingness to contribute to the advancement of team, office, and business capabilities.
  • Other duties as required by the position.
