About The Position

The finishing/assembly/gluing laborer is responsible for completing the assembly of the alternator pole that has been refurbished by the team, as well as performing finishing on the rotor poles and boxing for shipment.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial environment (asset)
• Ability to use an overhead crane (asset)
• Good knowledge of different measuring tools (caliper, depth micrometer, thickness gauge) in both metric and imperial units
• Comfortable with various rotary tools (grinder, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Adjust the coil collar
• Glue the collar to the coil
• Fill gaps with silicone
• Grind off excess glue and silicone
• Apply silver plating to connections
• Perform touch-up painting as needed
• Inspect the finishing of the poles
• Prepare and adjust boxes for transport for delivery
• Box the poles
• Move material using the overhead crane
