About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate mammographic and other equipment in accordance with company policies and protocols, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and provide excellent patient care. You will monitor patients during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action. You will guide patients through the exam process, answer their questions and concerns, and respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. The role is part of a dedicated, team-focused environment with cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• Genuine passion for patient care, sound judgment, and the ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and other equipment or devices in accordance with established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Use equipment adjustments and factors—including compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, and photo cell selection—to produce high-quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and answering questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
