Mammography Technologist (day shift) - Eureka California
About The Position
The Mammography Technologist works in the Mammo OIC Unit in Eureka, California. Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, the technologist performs professional duties involving the application of ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. The role acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards; produces and evaluates images and related data for physicians to use in medical diagnosis; performs related clerical tasks; and coordinates exams performed. This is a full-time position working 8-hour day shifts.
Requirements
- Education that meets the certification, license, or registration requirement.
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in Mammography.
- Experience with MQSA standards.
