This is a Paid Mammography Training Pathway for ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologists. Upon completion of training, you will be certified and placed in a Mammography Technologist role with Women's Imaging Specialists (WIS). WIS is the Southeast's leading women's imaging provider with 18 locations across GA & AL, focusing on early detection of breast cancer and osteoporosis through advanced 2D/3D mammography, breast ultrasound, and bone densitometry. The role offers a patient-first, team-focused environment. During training, you will complete hands-on clinical training with mentors, learn 2D/3D digital mammography, patient positioning, MQSA protocols, and master patient education. After certification, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, educate patients on breast health, and work Monday-Friday during daytime hours in a supportive outpatient setting.
