About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is hiring a Mammography Technologist at A.T. Augusta Ambulatory Care Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The role provides mammography services to active-duty service members, military retirees, and their families in a modern outpatient setting. It offers a full-time schedule with no holidays and occasional Saturdays, along with the stability of employment with Spectrum Healthcare Resources.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Current ARRT Mammography (ARRT(M)) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of current clinical mammography experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Operate specialized mammography imaging equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort while delivering compassionate, professional care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
