About The Position
Valley Medical Group is a provider-owned, multi-specialty group serving over 55,000 patients at four locations throughout the Pioneer Valley. The group is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join their team at the Amherst Health Center, with potential coverage at all four health centers as needed. The role involves operating mammography equipment to produce images in compliance with ACR/MQSA standards.
Requirements
- Completion of course in Radiology Technology approved by the American Register of Radiologic Technologists
- Current ARRT Registered Technologist certification in Radiology and Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)]
- Must have a primary source of performing MQSA required 200 mammograms every 2 years to maintain certification
- Experience in both screening and diagnostic mammograms
- Completion of required 15 mammography specific CEUs
- Licensed within the state of Massachusetts

Responsibilities
- Manage Radiology orders, billing functions, EMR buckets, and PACS
- Manage mammography tracking, outreach to patients and other duties as needed
- Perform quality control on mammography equipment
