This is for a per diem position. The days and hours will vary from week to week. The Mammography Technologist performs digital imaging acquisition, evaluates technical quality of images, and assists radiologists during invasive procedures. They are responsible for maintaining patient records, reporting malfunctioning equipment, and performing troubleshooting. This role requires moderate to heavy physical effort in lifting and moving patients and equipment, with the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 600 pounds with assistance. Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting are expected, along with stretching, bending, twisting, squatting, and kneeling. The technologist must adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
