About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist, you will join a team of professionals focused on delivering quality patient care and clinical outcomes. The role involves operating mammographic and related equipment in accordance with company policies and protocols, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and supporting patients throughout their exams. You will monitor patient well-being, respond to physicians’ questions and needs, and communicate respectfully with patients, guests, and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• Genuine passion for patient care, sound judgment, and the ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Effective, professional communication and interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic and other equipment or devices in accordance with established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Adjust equipment settings and factors—including compression, exposure modes, filters, kVp, mAs, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, and photocell selection—to produce high-quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through exam procedures by explaining the steps and addressing their questions and concerns.
• Respond to physicians’ questions and needs regarding patients.
