About The Position

The Mammography Technologist performs mammography imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating mammography and other imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Mammography Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. This position is primarily on the "MAMMO BUS" in Springfield, Missouri and is a full-time role. The description also outlines minimum requirements for both a Mammography Technologist and an Advanced Mammography Technologist.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and required clinical hours are completed.
State licensure required.
Obtained American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility).
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

1 year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program (for Advanced Mammography Technologist).
ARRT (R)(M) (for Advanced Mammography Technologist).
Knowledge of quality improvement programs (for Advanced Mammography Technologist).
