About The Position

South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) is seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist to join their team. SJRA is a leading medical imaging provider in the region, serving the community since 1938 with 16 locations and over 600,000 patients served annually. Requirements

Completion of certificate of training in x-ray and mammography.
ARRT licensure in both x-ray and mammography.
Clinical experience in mammography.
Current, valid NJ State license.
Working knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and medical terminology.
Knowledge of radiation safety.
Knowledge of filming/PACS and RIS.
Ability to work with others.
Genuine desire to help others.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

Cross-training in other modalities (MRI, CT) through the Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA).

Responsibilities

Perform mammography procedures.
Assist patients on and off exam tables as indicated.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Operate and maintain mammography equipment.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
