Requirements

• Certificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
• Biennial completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required certification/accreditation
• Must be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.
• Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License.
• Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Directs daily activities within the department.
• Facilitates employee orientation and training.
• Performs area specific QA/QC procedures.
• Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
• Assists physicians with radiographic procedures.
• Perform various operations using radiographic and associated equipment.
• Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associate equipment.
