Mammography Technologist
About The Position
A healthcare facility located about an hour from Butte, Montana, is seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist. The technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to provide high-quality patient care and operates specialized X-ray equipment to capture detailed breast tissue images for screening and diagnosis. The role works closely and communicates appropriately with radiologists, primary care providers, patients, and families. It also supports regional breast cancer prevention efforts and provides personal support to patients. Pay is $37.68–$50.24 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification.
- BLS certification upon hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care using the knowledge and skills necessary for the role.
- Operate specialized X-ray equipment to capture detailed images of breast tissue for screening and diagnosis.
- Work closely and communicate appropriately with radiologists, primary care providers, patients, and families.
- Promote and support regional breast cancer prevention efforts.
- Offer personal support to patients.
