About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate mammographic and related equipment according to established company policies and protocols, producing high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. You will adjust equipment settings and factors to obtain quality images, monitor patients during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems and respond appropriately. You will guide patients through the exam process, answer their questions and concerns, and respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. The role is part of a dedicated, team-focused environment with cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• Genuine passion for patient care, sound judgment, and ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills, and respectful interaction with patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic and other equipment in accordance with established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Adjust compression, exposure modes, filters, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection, and other equipment settings to produce high-quality images.
• Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through exam procedures by explaining steps and answering questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
