About The Position
An outpatient breast imaging center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a dedicated breast care environment. This full-time position focuses on mammography procedures for adult and geriatric patients while supporting radiologists, referring providers, and patients throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
- ARRT certification and Nevada State License required. Must have license prior to start date.
- BLS certification required.
- 2+ years of Mammography Technologist experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic mammography procedures while maintaining high standards for image quality and patient safety.
- Operate mammography equipment and apply technical judgment to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
- Assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures and imaging needs.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while addressing the physical, emotional, and safety needs of adult and geriatric patients.
- Evaluate image quality and make appropriate technical adjustments to support accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Follow department protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize hospital and department computer systems to support documentation and daily workflow.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient imaging services.
