Atlantic Imaging Services is seeking a per diem Mammography Technologist. This role involves performing mammographic, Dexa, and planar Xray procedures on patients, adhering to state, federal, professional, and departmental standards and guidelines. Key responsibilities include reviewing requisitions and patient records, performing examinations with high accuracy and appropriate technical factors, assembling and reviewing patient data, verifying physician orders, and ensuring all necessary information for radiologist interpretation is available. The technologist will also manage computer functions for patient charging and image interpretation using EPIC/Centricity PACS and the PenRad system. Additionally, the position requires performing QA, maintaining annual licensure/CME, assisting with MQSA guidelines tracking, delivering age-appropriate care, maintaining communication with leadership, contributing to the team, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and proactively addressing concerns.
