About The Position

The Breast Center Team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide excellent patient care and advance the health of patients and the community. This role is based at the Breast Center location. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants. The work schedule is either 5x8s or 4x9s, Monday through Friday, with department hours from 6:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and shifts will rotate. The ideal candidate will have experience with screening, diagnostic procedures, biopsies, and magseed. Missouri Baptist Medical Center is an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, recognized as a Magnet® hospital by the ANCC for nursing excellence and quality patient care. The Breast HealthCare Center offers a comprehensive range of screening and diagnostic services, including digital mammography, ultrasound, various biopsy procedures, breast MRI, and bone density scans. The center is equipped with multiple specialized rooms and a mobile mammography program.

Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent education
• No Experience required
• No Supervisor Experience required
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• Prefer experience with screening, diagnostic, biopsies, and magseed
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
• Intravenous Therapy certification

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
