About The Position

This is a Per Diem position that involves checking all images for proper identification, positioning, coning, markers, technologist initials, and good technical quality according to filming standards. The role ensures that all requisitions are signed, that history information contains appropriate and relevant clinical information, and that stickers are used appropriately. The technologist is responsible for maintaining licensure requirements and continuously improving technical skills through individual or class instruction. They also monitor processor performance daily through sensitometry procedures and maintain accurate patient records and charges.

Requirements

Current Florida CRT license required
Current ARRT and ARRT Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)]registry required.
Current BLS certification is required
High School graduate or equivalent is required
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiography is required
Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.
Ability to function in staff technologist role is required

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred
