Requirements

Associate's Degree in Allied Health (Required)
Graduate of an approved technical, professional ,or vocational program (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Other This position is required to meet the minimum continuing educational requirements established by the state of Ohio and is required to maintain ARRT and ODH licensure. (Required)
Other Mammography certification is required within this modality within 2 Yrs (Required)

Nice To Haves

Mammography certification is required within 24 months of employment within this modality.

Responsibilities

Provides for patient, family, and staff comfort and care prior to, during, and after a procedure. Recognizes and responds appropriately to emergent situations.
Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork. Work is completed before submitting it.
Demonstrates the ability to consistently produce and evaluate screening and diagnostic mammography for radiological interpretation
Demonstrates organizational and communication skills to promote the well-being of the department. Maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members.
Demonstrates competency through ongoing CBE's. Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and its operating procedures through CBE's. Selects proper imaging protocols and follows departmental procedures.
