About The Position

As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate mammographic and other equipment according to established company policies and protocols, produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner, and provide excellent patient care. You will monitor patients during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action. You will guide patients through exam steps, respond to their questions and concerns, and address physician questions and needs regarding patients. The role is part of a dedicated, team-focused environment with cross-training and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

• ARRT(R)(M) certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills, with respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritize work using a structured approach and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment and the ability to remain professional in all situations.
• Genuine passion for patient care.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic equipment and other equipment or devices in accordance with established company policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Select and adjust compression, exposure modes, filters, kVp, mAs, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photocell selection, and other equipment settings to produce high-quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical problems, and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through exam procedures by explaining steps and answering questions and concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
