About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring for a FLEXI Mammography Technologist. This is a flexi position based out of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and its satellite location at Sentara Fort Norfolk. Normal business hours Monday-Friday are 0630-1630 and Saturdays, 0745-1200. We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working independently.
Requirements
- Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
- ARRT registry in Mammography
- ARRT registry in Radiography
- Basic Life Support
- ARRT Registered or Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional Mammography Procedures.
- Perform all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.
- Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.
