About The Position

The Mammography Technologist at the breast center performs high-quality mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, MQSA standards, and regulatory requirements. The role provides compassionate patient care, ensures optimal image quality and patient safety, and collaborates with radiologists and the multidisciplinary breast care team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The technologist helps ensure ACR accreditation, participates in performance improvement activities, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential.
• Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders, departmental protocols, MQSA standards, and regulatory requirements.
