About The Position

The Mammography Technologist will be part of the Saint Alphonsus Mammo Team, performing mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas in Medical Imaging in both Idaho and Oregon. They will also maintain patient and procedure documentation, equipment and instrument knowledge, and provide effective patient communication. Requirements

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Must obtain Mammography registry through ARRT within 1 year of hire
Must have and maintain an active Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
Must have active driving privileges

Responsibilities

Perform mammography procedures and clinical breast examinations in the diagnostic and/or screening mammography areas of Medical Imaging in both Idaho and Oregon
Maintain patient and procedure documentation
Maintain equipment and instrument knowledge pertinent to high quality exams
Provide effective internal and external patient communication consistent with age and mental capacity
