Mammography Technologist - Full Time
About The Position

In this role, the Mammography Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of Mammo procedures. This includes warmly greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, and staff, assisting radiologists and other physicians during exams when necessary, assessing patient conditions, producing good quality radiographic images, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
Nice To Haves
- ARRT Advanced modality - Mammo (M)
- Prior Mammo Tech experience working in a hospital setting
