About The Position

This position involves performing mammography and radiology procedures independently or under physician supervision. The technologist is responsible for producing optimal images while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. The role also includes supporting the didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and guidance. Requirements

Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
R.T. (R) (ARRT)
R.T. (R) (M) (ARRT)
ARRT-R must be obtained prior to start date

Responsibilities

Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs mammography procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in mammography, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.
