About The Position

South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) is seeking outgoing, driven, caring, and patient-focused technologists who have a passion for breast imaging and are looking for a new challenge in their career. This is an opportunity to get certified in Mammography and get paid to learn. The position is full-time, floating to northern SJRA Centers, with a schedule of Monday through Friday between 7:30 am - 8:00 pm, plus Saturday rotations, variable as needed based on center location.

Requirements

• ARRT registered a must!
• Current, valid NJ State license
• Completion of certification of training in x-ray and mammography
• Working knowledge of anatomy, positioning, medical terminology
• Knowledge of radiation safety
• Knowledge of filming/PACS and RIS
• Ability to work with others
• Genuine desire to want to help others
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients on and off exam tables as indicated
• Patient contact
• Radiation exposure
• Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids
• Contact with coworkers, patients and their family members, physicians, referring physicians and their office staff
