About The Position
South Jersey Radiology Associates (SJRA) is seeking a Mammography Technologist II to join their team. This is a full-time position located in Haddonfield. SJRA is a leading medical imaging provider in the region, known for its high patient satisfaction and experienced radiologists. The Mammography Technologist II will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves direct patient contact, potential exposure to radiation and bodily fluids, and requires significant standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
Requirements
- Completion of certificate of training in x-ray and mammography.
- ARRT licensure in both x-ray and mammography.
- Current, valid NJ State license.
- Clinical experience in mammography.
- Working knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and medical terminology.
- Knowledge of radiation safety.
- Knowledge of filming/PACS and RIS.
- Ability to work with others.
- Genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Cross-training in other modalities (MRI, CT) through the Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA).
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures.
