About The Position

This job is perfect for you if you desire to increase your skills, rotating through multiple sites increasing personal and professional development. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Maintains competency and performs at least one of the following on a routine basis: mammography interventional procedures i.e. Affirm / Stereotactic, diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, or bone density. Provides back up coverage for the Lead / QA Mammography Technologist, performs quality control, and consults with physicians. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients. Perform other duties as assigned / requested.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in performing mammography is required.
  • Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in radiologic technology is required.
  • ARRT registered IN radiology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer is required.
  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is also required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
