About The Position

Performs mammographic exams. Responsible for identifying and resolving issues related to images, equipment, and quality control. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical / clinical staff, students, and patients. Perform other duties as assigned / requested.

Requirements

  • Post high school completion of an ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology is required.
  • ARRT registered IN Radiologic Technology (RTR) and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.
  • Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-M is required within 12 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in performing mammography is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of college/university and/or undergraduate degree in a radiologic technology or clinically related field is preferred.
  • 40 hours of training specific to mammography is preferred.
