About The Position

Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee imaging organization seeks a full time Float Mammography Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and excellent imaging skills. The candidate must be able to travel to multiple sites covering our locations on the northwest and southwest sides of Tucson. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5 PM. This is a safety sensitive position.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Certified in mammography
Possess ARRT credentials
Current Arizona State Licensure
At least 2 years of experience as a technologist preferred
Superior communication skills
Excellent customer service skills, always putting the patient first
Must be able to manage time in a productive manner within the guidelines of the department

Nice To Haves

Breast ultrasound experience helpful.
Training will be provided as well as in breast biopsy procedures if needed.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality Mammography examinations.
Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
