About The Position
Fairfax Radiology Centers (FRC) - the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia - is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Float Pool team on a PRN basis. In this role, you’ll travel between our outpatient imaging centers across Northern Virginia, delivering high-quality mammography and DXA services. Each day offers variety, while your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise ensure every patient has a positive experience. This PRN opportunity offers flexibility while keeping you connected to a collaborative, patient-focused team.
Requirements
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography
- Virginia RT license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, multi-site environment
Responsibilities
- Independently perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams
- Perform DXA bone density scans and X-Rays
- Float between multiple outpatient imaging centers
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction while acquiring high-quality images
- Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow
