About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive mammography experience, strong patient care skills, and the ability to perform high-quality imaging procedures while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Echocardiography Certificate
- ARRT Registration Required
- Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography
- BLS Certification (AHA)
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety
- Position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging regulations
- Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of mammography equipment
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines
