About The Position
Strives to provide optimal patient care; performs various imaging procedures with a high degree of accuracy in positioning, exposure factors, safety, and radiation protection. Upholds the standard of practice for registered technologists and certified mammographers.
Requirements
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- General certification
- Mammography Certification required within 12 months from the date of hire
- Florida State License (Radiographer)
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Competence in written and verbal communication.
- Must demonstrate competence in development and treatment needs of the population usually served.
- Knowledge of computer technology and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.
