About The Position
MedQuest Imaging, a partner of Novant Health Systems, is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join their team. MedQuest is a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, including 9 breast centers, and is dedicated to team member growth and development through an internal multi-modality training program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Certification in Mammography
- ARRT registered and Mammography registry
- Completed required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
- Active state licensure, where applicable
- 10+ years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Continuing education in diagnostic mammography and related fields.
Responsibilities
- Integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
- Complete scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care to provide the most remarkable patient experience.
