About The Position

The Mammography Technologist, under the direction of the Director of Radiology, provides care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorder; assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by Supervisor. Must have access to own transportation, possess a valid operator’s license and insurance coverage as indicated by Lexington Clinic safety policies. Position requires occasional travel.

Requirements

• Must have access to own transportation.
• Possess a valid operator’s license.
• Possess insurance coverage as indicated by Lexington Clinic safety policies.

Nice To Haves

• Formal training which will probably be indicated by registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certification by the Kentucky Department of Human Resources, Radiation Control Branch.
• Licensure/certification in mammography within one year.
