About The Position

PRN technologist to cover mammography and bone density. Mammography Technologist, PRN with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, GA. This position performs ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists. The technologist maintains technical competency through continued education, performs equipment quality checks, troubleshoots problems, calls for service, and notifies all pertinent team members. They follow quality assurance guidelines, maintain patient confidentiality, and enter patient questionnaires, release forms, and all other paperwork into the Epic system.

Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Advanced registry in mammography required.
• Continuing education credits in Mammography required.
• Graduate of formal radiographic technology training in an AMA-approved school.

Nice To Haves

• Two years mammography experience preferred.
