About The Position

We seek a skilled and motivated Mammography Technologist to support our Mobile Mammography Unit, providing on-site screenings at community locations and local businesses. This role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Licensed Radiographer in the state of Indiana
ARRT advanced certification in Mammography OR Completion of mammography training with commitment to obtain ARRT Mammography certification within 60 days
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in Mammography
Prior leadership or lead experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality mammography imaging in accordance with ACR standards, independently and in collaboration with Radiologists
Position patients and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal imaging results
Assist physicians with procedures, including sterile techniques when required
Act as a technical expert resource for departmental protocols, procedures, and imaging techniques
Operates mammography equipment to obtain mammograms according to ACR specifications independently and in conjunction with radiologist
