About The Position

The Mammography Tech I operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, and involves working in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified in Mammography (or will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in mammography
• Holds American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
