Mammography Coord-Lead
About The Position
Provides lead/resource support for management in the efficient and effective delivery of mammography services. Promotes excellent patient care through appropriate supervision, evaluation and adequate training of departmental personnel, procurement/maintenance of equipment, QA/QI, development of appropriate policies and procedures, regulatory compliance and protocol development. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Diagnostic Imaging teams at Samaritan Health Services use state-of-the-art imaging technology while providing health care teams with the information needed for a fast, accurate diagnosis. Imaging services include: X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT Mobile, and Ultrasound services.
Requirements
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required.
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required.
- Current ARRT Mammography certification or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years mammographer experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- B.S. degree preferred.
